Manually Issuing Cards

Card administrators have the possibility to directly issue cards to BlueBean registered users.

To do so, they simply go to Virtual Cards under the Accounting menu and click on the “Issue Card” button. Doing so they will be promoted to select the user for which they wish to issue a card and then choose whether they wish to issue a one time or multi-use card.

Manually issuing a one time card for a specific amount to a user will lead to the creation of the card accessible on the user’s web application and browser extension (under active cards menu). The user will also be notified by email.

To issue a multi-use card, the card administrator will first select whether they wish to issue a subscription card or a budget card.

Similarly to one time use card, subscription cards issued to a user will be available to the user on their browser extension. The user will also be notified by email.

When choosing a budget card, the administrator has the additional option to make the card available on the user mobile app. By clicking “Allow on mobile wallet” the card will also be available on their mobile app for use with the mobile wallet in addition to being available on their browser extension for online use. The user will be notified of the issuance of the card by email.

Issuing allowance cards that are only accessible on mobile and for mobile use is a slightly different process as the card is unique and cannot be issued twice. For that reason issuing an allowance card happens at the user management level.

Card administrators can go to the user management and select the user to whom they want to issue an allowance card, click on the action button and select “issue allowance card”. This will issue an allowance card for the user directly accessible on their BlueBean mobile application. Similarly to other cards the users will be notified by email.
