Setting Card Request Rules and Usage Tolerance

To set card request rules and usage tolerances for the virtual cards you issue from your primary account, go to the “Account details” menu under the Accounting area of the platform.

There click on the wheel at the top right corner of the application to access the configuration options.

First you can set an expiry timeline for approved card requests that have not been issued. By default they expire in 5 days.

Second you can choose to set Extras / Tipping options for your allowance cards. These can then be used on the mobile application for categories for which you allow the usage of tipping.

The authorization tolerance allows for authorization that may end up be higher than the actual face value of the requested card. This is especially helpful if taxes and other additional costs are not expected at check out until late in the process. A default of 10% is set in the application.

Low balance warning allows BlueBean to send notifications to budget card holders when a certain percentage of the set budget is left.
